Strunal is very particular about the choice of wood that they use for their instruments, because they know that this greatly affects the resonance and sound quality of stringed instruments. But at the same time, they know how important it is to preserve our trees, and therefore make sure that they only use wood from sustainable sources. Excellent quality fused with environmentally friendly processes and materials are just some of the characteristics that make Strunal an outstanding company. Strunal’s Concert Series features a variety of models for the discriminating virtuoso. The Strunal 337w features an elegant violin made from carved loft-seasoned spruce. It has excellently flamed maple sides and back, with an ebony hand made spirit varnish. Meanwhile the Strunal 3370, 335w, 3350, 333w, 3330, 3321, 3320, 331w and 3310 models feature the same materials and finish as the 337w. The Strunal 3060 is made from carved spruce, which is graduated for excellent tone quality. The sides and back are made from flamed maple and has an ebony polyurethane semi-matte varnish. A similar style is the Strunal 205w, but this has a high gloss or semi-matte varnish, depending on your preference.
For violin students, there is the Strunal 29w which is made from carved spruce, and has maple sides and back that are slightly flamed. It has an ebony spirit varnish for its finish and is available from sizes 1/8 to the full 4/4. There is also the Strunal 920, Strunal 270 and the Strunal 26wA.
